Drawing of an old couple riding the Path train, this is from one of my old sketchbooks 2007. The subject in this drawing is making eye contact with the viewer. I rarely do this because it makes me feel uneasy that the subject doesn't know I am drawing them. I wanted to capture the old woman's worried expression and her strong grip on her husband's arm. I remember repeating to myself while I was drawing this "Don't loose it, get everything, don't loose it." I think I got it, and I like this drawing very much :)
The need to draw is like an itch, sometimes overwhelming and ending up on paper.

Q Train
Q train, Union Sq to Atlantic. I got a piece chocolate for doing this drawing. Boy, am happy to get paid with chocolate currency, I just wish i could pay rent that way.
